HOW DO I JOIN THE ASSOCIATION OF MIDLANDS LANDLORDS? To find out more about how to join the AML and about its benefits, click here. After you have become an AML member, you can then obtain a free account with this website. This will enable you to advertise your properties to the public. To to this, please click here. Then, using your AML membership code, you should have no problems in acquiring your own personal, and free, account.
To be able to enter the member's area, from where you can advertise your properties to the public, you must first be registered with the Internet system. Please note that THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM JUST BEING REGISTERED AS A MEMBER WITH THE AML. For instance, to enter the member's area, you must have signed up and collected your own unique 'userID' and password. You cannot simply enter in your name and AML membership code. To obtain your free account with this system, please click here.
1) You must first be a member of the AML (Association of Midlands Landlords). To learn more about this, click here. 2) You must first register for an account with the online database. This is very easy to do. If you would like to learn more about this, please click here. 3) Go to your personal screen. To do this simply click on the 'members login' icon on the left hand-side of the screen. From there you will be asked to enter your userID and password. You would have acquired these from registering for use of this system. After filling these in, click on the button labelled 'submit'. Next, simply click on the button labelled 'personal screen'. 4) From this screen, you can add/edit/remove your property advertisements. I'VE LOST MY PASSWORD FOR THE MEMBERS LOGIN! To have a new password sent to the email address you specified when you joined this Internet system, go to members login and look for the link that reads 'forgot password?'. To change your password go to your personal screen, click on 'go to pesonal details' - and click on the 'make changes' icon.
To enter your personal screen, you must first be registered with the system. To do this please click here. After you have registered, simply click on 'members login' on the navigation bar on the left hand-side of the screen. From there you will be asked to enter your userID and password. You would have acquired these from registering. After filling these in, click on the button labelled 'submit'. Next, simply click on the button labelled 'personal screen' at the top of the page.
You might have a setting on your computer that has something called 'cookies' disabled. This would mean that when you click on the 'personal screen' icon, you are always asked to login again. To enable cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Go to Tools - Internet Options - Security - custom level. Once there, scroll down until you see a cookies section. Enable the cookies.
To do this, you must change your property's availability setting from being 'available', to 'let'. In your personal screen, go to the line that displays your property-advertisement's unique code. There, next to the property-code, will be displayed your property's availability setting. Next to that, will be a quick, clickable link, that toggles your availability setting. If a property is let, it will either be hidden from the public, or displayed to the public as a LET property.
To do this, login via the 'members login' link, and once in, click on the button-link that says 'AML handbook'.
